Special Dense High-Alumina Bricks:
Low Creep High-Alumina Bricks: With a density of ≥2.70-2.85 g/cm³, they are used in kilns that bear heavy loads at high temperatures for a long time.
Phosphate-Bonded High-Alumina Wear-Resistant Bricks: The high-density type can reach a density of 2.8-3.0 g/cm³, with an apparent porosity of ≤15%. They are wear-resistant and slag-resistant.
Supplementary Notes:
1.Bulk density (the weight per cubic meter when loaded on a vehicle) commonly mentioned in the industry: For Class I high-alumina bricks, it is about 2.5-2.6 tons/m³; for Class II, it is 2.4 tons/m³; for Class III, it is 2.3 tons/m³.
2.The higher the density, the lower the apparent porosity, and the better the compressive strength, slag resistance, and wear resistance.
3.Lightweight high-alumina insulation bricks have a density of only 0.6-1.3 g/cm³ and do not belong to dense high-alumina refractory bricks for masonry.
